Rockin’ the Dream

The "Rockin' the Dream" Banquet is one of the most important events at Washington Cathedral. It is one of those moments that you can look around surrounded by the key players of the dream of building a great caring network. This year's theme is the theme for the entire year: "Let us Rise up and Rebuild"- from the book of Nehemiah- as we rebuild the church ministries, and the strength of Washington Cathedral.

The camaraderie is really exciting! Not only because it’s fun and but because it means something. Your presence inspires everyone. There will be a town hall meeting of questions and answers. Pastor Tim and Pastor Mark will share their heart. The food is top-notch, the music is the best, and you will leave feeling like it was a very enjoyable evening. Please join us.

What is Rockin’ the Dream?

Washington Cathedral in on a mission is to build a great caring network. That mission has not changed in 39 years and is supported by the generosity of people’s tithes and offerings to the General Ministry Fund. The funds to cover the cost of facilities are raised through separate campaigns. Rockin’ the Dream is such a campaign. These funds are needed to create a presence in the community to build authentic friendships and share how Jesus changes lives.
