I believe in Father’s Day.  “As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him." Psalm 103:12-14. I love the image of God as our Heavenly Father.  My dad Dale White was one of my best friends. In my imagination I can still hear him calling my name in the wind.  My love of my dad always made it easy for me to accept mentors in my life. And I had some great ones all because of my dad.  This week Dr. Rey Diaz, president of Orphan Outreach will be preaching on the “Father of the fatherless”.  It’s a great Sunday to be blessed by inspiration on Father’s Day. We are having a special drawing for dads and the winner gets nice tickets for two to the Mariners - Red Socks game coming up.
